There are also systems with double or fourfold reception, for those wanting to use more than one microphone. These multi-receptors are not only space-saving.
Beside the single outputs for every microphone, they also feature a mix output, combining all microphones in one output, where the volume can be controlled. This way, mixer channels can be reduced or the entire mixer even omitted.
There is a matching pocket transmitter with lavalier microphone for every available frequency. The systems have a range of up to 50 meters with a battery life of 12 hours (two standard AA batteries are sufficient).
